In 1848 Spirit used to be the warehouse of St Barts, in this space you could find all the rarest goods shipped from all over the world destined to the population of St Barts. Today this space evolved into a modern gallery space mixing tradition and modernity, the perfect spot to promote the treasures of Contemporary and Modern Art.

Big or small, new galleries are currently opening in the heart of St Barts: Gustavia. One of the capital's must be Spirit Galerie, 26 rue Jeanne d’Arc, 97133 Gustavia, which will open in October with an exhibition of Schembri International. The owner admits, The gallery space itself isn't big, but creativity brought in Art is infinite.

Since 1848, the space gallery has  been used in the nineteenth century as a warehouse for the island, on 26 Rue Jeanne d’Arc, in the heart of Gustavia. Spirit is now an art space mixing tradition and modernity, linked to the ecological foundation Elements, with the openings of the first gala Elements happening in St Barts next year. The Spirit gallery is composed of a showroom of 45 m2 (484 square feet) and extends with a backyard over more than 1,000 m2 (10763 square feet).
